Hubpages and Google

New Authors to Hubpages are often shocked and surprised at how quickly their work is picked up by the search engines, in particular Google, it can happen in hours rather than days and traffic from the search engines is vital if you want to make any money from advertising.

Google at the moment loves hubpages and hubs are very quickly listed by them if they are original content not spammy and well written chances are that your hubs will be picked up by Google within 24 hours of publishing and be placed on page one of the search for the topic that you have written about.

Spammy hubs or hubs containing content copied and pasted from other websites may make it to the first page of search but they are quickly removed when the content has been checked.

Yahoo search is also starting to list a lot of hubpages in high ranking positions and over the past couple of months there has been a massive increase of visitors from Yahoo.

Yahoo may take a bit longer to list your hubs but it is worth the wait.

MSN were a bit slow on the band wagon but hubbers are starting to see more visitors from them too.

There are many other search engines sending traffic to hubpages, such as meta crawler, ask, lycos and aol and alot of others from all over the world.

Over 90% of visitors to Hubpages are directed to pages directly from search engines.

Hubpages is growing at the speed of light, with more visitors and more members joining every day.
