Hubpages Author

Hi I make a few dollars every month for writing articles on a website called hubpages, the reason for this blog is to try and help others make some money on hubpages too.

  1. Hi Jimmy,
I just found this and will show it to Tricia. Thanks for such straight forward information.

  2. Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for taking the time to help Hubbers here and share your success. I have a very troubling question and don’t know where else to turn.
My dear wife has been a hubber for over seven months, has written more than 60 hubs, and has more than 33,000 views. It is her passion to write and make a success on Hubpages. She also was building a different and new website for local businesses around where we live and linked it to her AdSense account. One day about a month ago while I was checking that new site, I saw that the ad links on that website appeared to be broken links. I clicked on them and they would then appear to be “fixed”. So, I clicked on the ones that were “broken” and it seemed to reset them, and they appeared correct then. Well..now, here AdSense account has been disabled for invalid clicks. I, of course, wrote to Google to explain this in trying to appeal their action but have heard nothing back so far. In the meantime, her Hubpages ads are also affected because the other website ads account are connected to the same account! This is so disheartening because she has now lost her drive to work on her hubs. I truly want to help her overcome my stupidity. She had no knowledge or awareness of my actions..and indeed has a very strict personal policy of never clicking on her own ads. I did not know this was a violation of the terms of service for Google at the time. Of course, I know that now..but it is too late now. This happened we assume because Google must have detected this coming from our home IP address even though it was from my computer and not my wife’s. Do you have any advice?
    Thanks so much!
