There are so many great writers on Hubpages, Who write fantastic articles on so many topics in so many different writing styles, and that got me to thinking about a different way to gain exposure and help them to make a little extra money in the process. it started off with a forum post and it has grown into 3 hubs and more if needs be.

open only authors who have published on hubpages, I have created a directory of Hubbers who want to try their hands at writing articles for other people.

After the initial question who would like to take part? I wrote a hub Writers For Hire and included some top quality writers from hubpages.

The demand to join the directory has been so good that I have had to publish a second hub More Writers For Hire to help cope with the demand, at the rate it is going I may have to add a few more pages in the near future.

Hubpages gives writers the opportunity to have their work published on the Internet free of charge and as a bonus the writer gets the chance to make a little extra income from the advertising on their published work.

Becoming a hubpages Author or Hubber for short is easy and as advertised only takes a minute to complete the online form. before you write your first Hub or article on Hubpages you should check out your account settings and set up your Affilliate settings because if you don’t you will not earn any money from your hub.

When you have completed the affiliate sign up process for Google Adsense, Ebay, Kontera and Amazon, you are then ready to publish your first Hub and begin your journey into your new Writing Hobby.

Writing on Hubpages is a lot easier than it looks the first time that you click on the Start a new Hub Arrow and this A-Z guide should Help you through the process of writing a hub and give you a better understanding of what makes Hubpages tick.

A is For Affiliates and Advertising

Hubpages at this moment in time offers writers 5 ways to make money from thier hubs 4 of those ways are throughThe Advertising affiliates mentioned above, Google, Ebay, Amazon, and Kontera.

The Hubpages team are always testing out other affiliates but will not approve them unless they believe that they will benefit everyone on the site including the writers. The fifth way to make money will be explained later on this page when we reach the letter U.

A is For Author

when you are a writer on Hubpages your official title is Hubpages Author, but this is shortened by most authors to Hubber.

A is for Adult Content

Adult or pornographic content is not permitted in Hubpages, publishing content that is against the adsense policy will result in your hub being flagged by members of the hubpages community and removed by the hubpages team. If you continue to publish Adult material your account will also be removed and your IP address banned from the site.

B is For…..

B is for Banners

If you have your own website or blog you can add a hubpages Banner with your url tracker click here to chose a banner for your site and earn a little more income.

B is for Blogging

You can use Hubpages as your personal blog page but it is not really a viable option because Hubpages is better suited to Article or Product review writing.

B is For Bookmarks

A recent feature added to Hubpages is the ability to bookmark your favorite hubs, when you read a hub that you really like you click on the link below the hubbers picture and you then get the option to save it. you can access your bookmarks from you account page.

C is For Capsules

A Hub Article is created in a series of capsules, A text capsule is what you write, a photo capsule is where you ad pictures, A video capsule is where you add video, a links capsule is used to add links to another website, a news capsule allows you to keep your reader updated with the latest news on the subject matter of your hub, an rss capsule keeps your readers updated with the latest information from a website of your choosing, a comments capsule gives your readers a chance to have their say on your article, a poll capsule(another new addition to Hubpages) allows your readers to vote on the topic, an ebay and an amazon capsule is where your avertisements go when you have set up your affiliation with them.

You can add as many or as few capsules that you require for the particular hub that you are writing at the time, capsules can be moved around to suit your pages.

C is For Comments

You can make any article that you write on hubpages interactive by placing a comments capsule in your hubs, this gives the readers a chance to have their say on your chosen topic, comments capsules can be edited to suit your tastes, click on edit of the comments capsule for the options, you can also delete unwanted or abusive comments.

C is for Commercial Hubs

Commercial hubs are required to have an ad level setting of High. Your hub is considered to be commercial if it meets any of these conditions.

it is monetized through a non-hubpages affiliate mechanism, it contains links to other commercial sites, it promotes a for profit business, especially a business that you have an interest in.

Hubpages Money Making Update

At the beginning of November I gave you a rundown of my average monthly earnings from Hubpages and stated that I would keep you updated of my progress because I am currently experimenting with different types of articles to see which make money and which don’t.
The month of November turned out to be my best month ever, I earned more from my hubs than ever before and it is thanks to some of my new articles.

From Google adsense $182.00
From Ebay $130.00
From Amazon $15.00
From Kontera $26.00

Total earnings for November $353.00

The Majority of my earnings came from my newer hubs which have been Product reviews.
It seems to be the way to success to review products and hand select your ads from Amazon and Ebay, Maybe you should try it out for yourself?

Hubpages How to Earn With Amazon and Ebay

For 2 years I have been writing on hubpages and my earnings from Ebay and Amazon have been to say the least disapointing, a couple of dollars here a couple of cents there and some months I wouldn’t earn a single cent, my highest payout from either source of revenue was around $5.00 in a single month.

For the past couple of months I have been experimenting on my new hubs to try and increase my earnings from Ebay and Amazon and I am pleased to say that I have seen a significant increase in my earnings from both.

The first month I made record sales on Ebay for my account with a grand total of $7.32 and on Amazon I made $6.89

The Second month I again increased my sales making $12.29 from Ebay and $9.47 from Amazon

October has smashed those records yet again as my Ebay earnings rose to $24.00 exactly and Amazon totaly surprised me by raking in $27.37.

If my earnings keep growing at this rate I could soon be earning $100 a month from both Ebay and Amazon top that off with around $35.00 a month from Kontera ads and the $150.00 I earn on average from Google, I could soon be earning around $400.00 every month. not too shabby for a hobby that I love and would be more than willing to do for no money at all.

Whats the secret?

The key to my increased earnings, I try to find the latest hot products on the market, through reading magazines, newspapers and even on the Internet I write a review of that hot product and then I search ebay and Amazon to find good prices on that same product and add the relevant ones to my pages, products are classed as hot because people are buying them and more people want to get their hands on them.

This Hub made $22.00 from one sale on Amazon, 2 days after I published it hopefully there will be a few more sales coming in from it, it has only been published for around a week.

Give it a go yourself, Hubpages is a free website where you can write about almost anything and get paid for your efforts, you get a 60% share of the advertising Revenue and hubpages get the other 40%
